This memorial website was created to remember our dearest brooklyn joann baucom who was born in Iowa mongomery on November 7, 2000 and passed away on December 23, 2005 at the age of 5. You will live forever in our memories and hearts. Brooklyn joann baucom  was very beautiful. she was loaned for only 5 years but her memories will live in me . On december 22,2005, i went to her school (headstart) and i spent the day in there . her eyes were lit up knowing mommy was going to spend the day with her. we wrote her abc's and she loved to draw . That night i got a call to go get some toys , donation that the cops do for little kids but i took the car seats out so i would have room . The next morning ,i got them ready for school. I remember brushing her bueatiful hair and putting her clothes on . i remember her looking at me and asking me why is my overhauls so big i told her that they are supposed to be big .So they ate there breakfast ., then they ran out to feed horses. i noticed the time and was running a little late so i put them in the car without car seats. you never think of nothing that would go wrong. well a mile in a half hit a patch of frost (black ice) put my car out of control , went down an inbankment , rolled several times and when it stopped only saw my 3 year cring and turned my head saw brooklyn in the cornfield . i ran as fast as i could i put her in my arms and called the cops could not talk was nub only thing i could say is my baby was bleeding ,called my mom , they came .there was 2 guys at the site they called and got help .don't know who they were but there my heros.brooklyn passed at the scene. i want to tell everyone things like this can happen in  a plink of an eye so please buckle your little one up , no matter if your running behind . i have to live with knowing that maybe the carseat might of saved my liitle girl. Its so hard to live anymore. she will always be my little angel, that was only loaned to me for 5 years .
